Today was an exciting day! Finally I was able to take the engine out of its storage. I installed the engine to the engine mount. Everything worked smoothly and better than expected. Engine is straight and level to the fuselage. I had and have a big smile on my face when looking at the plane now! Now there is an other construction site I can brainstorm about. Many things to consider and to plan.........
Note: The engine firewall will be covered with all the required materials (SS sheet metal/Fiberfrax) at a later stage and after drilling all the holes at the right spots. Before starting with fillering and sanding, engine will come off again.
